And afterward he was manifested unto the eleven themselves as they sat at meat; and he upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them that had seen him after he was risen.

Amplified® Bible
Afterward He appeared to the Eleven [apostles themselves] as they reclined at table; and He reproved {and} reproached them for their unbelief (their lack of faith) and their hardness of heart, because they had refused to believe those who had seen Him {and} looked at Him attentively after He had risen [from death].

Contemporary English Version
Afterwards, Jesus appeared to his eleven disciples as they were eating. He scolded them because they were too stubborn to believe the ones who had seen him after he had been raised to life.

Darby English Version
Afterwards as they lay at table he was manifested to the eleven, and reproached [them with] their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they had not believed those who had seen him risen.

Good News Bible
Last of all, Jesus appeared to the eleven disciples as they were eating. He scolded them, because they did not have faith and because they were too stubborn to believe those who had seen him alive.

Finally he appeared to the eleven disciples while they were eating. He rebuked them for their unbelief and stubbornness, because they had not believed those who had seen him after he had risen.
