American Standard Version

Amplified® Bible
[Men] of whom the world was not worthy--roaming over the desolate places and the mountains, and [living] in caves {and} caverns and holes of the earth.

Contemporary English Version
The world did not deserve these good people, who had to wander in deserts and on mountains and had to live in caves and holes in the ground.

Darby English Version

Good News Bible
The world was not good enough for them! They wandered like refugees in the deserts and hills, living in caves and holes in the ground.
