What the Bible says about Miracles not an effective Means of Producing Faith
(From Forerunner Commentary)

Hebrews 4:2

Did any group of people other than the Israelites coming out of Egypt ever see so many miracles? Perhaps the apostles who witnessed all of Jesus' miracles saw more. Nevertheless, the Israelites failed to reach the Promised Land, God's rest at the time, because they did not have any faith.

Miracles produce faith only for a short period of time. They are not an effective means of producing faith, which why God is not overly concerned about them. What He is concerned about is diligence, discipline, patience, steadfast endurance. Now there is a real miracle: changing human nature to go resolutely in the right direction!
