The meaning of Zeboiim in the Bible
(From International Standard Bible Encyclopedia)

ze-boi'-im (tsebhoyim; the Septuagint uniformly Sebo(e)im; the King James Version, Zeboim): One of the cities in the Vale of Siddim, destroyed with Sodom and Gomorrah. It is always mentioned next to Admah (Genesis 10:19; Genesis 14:2, Genesis 14:8; Deuteronomy 29:23; Hosea 11:8). It is not to be confounded with Zeboim mentioned in I Samuel 13:18 and Nehemiah 11:34. The site has not been positively identified, but must be determined by the general questions connected with the Vale of Siddim.
