sermonette: Perspective

Keeping a Godly Outlook
Bill Onisick
Given 12-Jun-04; Sermon #671s; 14 minutes

Description: (hide)

Significant events in our lives (perhaps tragedies or close calls) can help put things back into perspective. Maintaining a godly perspective in Satan's world is difficult because of the plethora of distractions continually competing for our attention. We can proactively sharpen our perspective by prayer, study, and meditation, enabling us to put our priorities in the proper order. If we learned we had only one month to live, we might more properly realize what should receive our primary attention. Maintaining a godly perspective means putting our priorities (what we value most highly) in proper order.
