sermonette: Acknowledging the Giver

All Things Come From God
John W. Ritenbaugh
Given 24-Apr-05; Sermon #716As; 19 minutes

Description: (hide)

We have been chosen to be God's special treasure. Of all the billions of people He could have chosen, He picked us—the foolish, weak, and base—in order to confound the wise and mighty. God always chooses the components of His handiwork with deliberate, meticulous forethought. God does everything, including calling us, with precision and accuracy. John the Baptist, like the Twenty-four Elders in Revelation, submitted unconditionally to God's will; this is worship in its purist form. God has given everything we have, providing us a special, deliberately arranged connection back to Him. We have an opportunity to reciprocate God's unfathomable generosity.
