sermonette: Our Common Experience

Walking the Narrow Path with God's Brethren
Ted E. Bowling
Given 12-Aug-06; Sermon #788s; 15 minutes

Description: (hide)

Similar to Robert Frost's poem, The Road Not Taken, people who are called and have undergone baptism have chosen the narrow way. We must follow in the paths of our Elder Brother who yielded continually to the Father's purpose. There is a difficult scenic pathway in Zion National Park taken by only a few people. Because so few take this path, the ones who do this feel a special camaraderie. We ought to have a special feeling toward those who have taken the same journey, showing special consideration and a spiritual interaction with the other members of God's family. Our walk with God should show the character of Christ growing increasingly in us.
