Industriousness is not an instinct, but human nature tends toward inactivity and entropy. A child's room is often in a disorderly state, reflecting a lazy, disorderly state of mind. God instructed Adam and Eve to dress and keep the garden, suggesting that mankind was created to work, creating order from disorder, maintaining harmony, peace, and tranquility. The reason we must work is to prepare to give to those who are in need. By learning this physical principle, we prepare to serve others in God's Kingdom. If we refuse to prepare ourselves to give now, we jeopardize our opportunity even to be in God's Kingdom. We, as members of one another, must serve one another as if we were a physical organ of a body. As the Father and the Son work to serve, we must work to serve one another, preparing to serve in the Kingdom of God.
