Jesus Christ, as the door to the sheepfold, fulfills the following functions: (1) Provides access to salvation, (2) provides protection, keeping predators out, (3) provides a boundary separating us from the world, (4) provides a venue for fellowship with others of the same mind, and (5) provides a means to go in and out, living righteously as examples to the world.
