sermonette: Taste and See

Offertory
Martin G. Collins
Given 30-Mar-10; Sermon #984as; 17 minutes

Description: (hide)

Our tithes can be evidence of our faith and obedience, indicating our trust in God's providence. God's ways provide physical and spiritual blessings, and the blessings we receive, when we reflect upon them, can almost overwhelm us. We need to consider the abundance of spiritual blessings experienced in the past and the present. Our offerings presented during the three annual holy day seasons are to be given from the heart, considering carefully the abundance of the blessings, tasting and seeing the goodness of God by obediently following His ways. The offerings we give are a gift from us to Almighty God in gratitude for the abundance He has given us.
