sermonette: Is This the Life You Want?

Kim Myers
Given 29-Sep-10; Sermon #FT10-13s; 19 minutes

Description: (hide)

During the Millennium, the entire world will be keeping the Feast of Tabernacles. With no wars and no harassment from Satan, this will be a delightful time. In the meantime, we must keep our vision on qualifying for the Kingdom, realizing that many of our former brethren have given up. In the greater church of God, some of the ministry has grown corrupt, mixing God's truth with the world. Alcoholism, divorce, and other forms of sin have infiltrated the greater church of God. We need to focus on the kingdom of God. Society has lured our young people into financial and sexual debacles, drugs and alcohol, having traded their potential first fruit status for corrosive sins. Dress standards have declined, second tithe is no longer kept, and the Feast of Tabernacles has become a glorified vacation. In the millennial setting, there will be no amusement parks like Disneyland or Six Flags, but there will be the opportunity to ingest God's pure truth full strength. We cannot blend God's ways with those of the world, defiling its purity. We need to continually pray, study, meditate, and fast, encouraging one another and helping each other monetarily.
