The emergent beast of Revelation actually builds upon the work of previous beasts in scripture, beginning with Nimrod, despotic governments who had attempted to concentrate population and power, defying God's command to spread out. The despot attempts to provide a vision in order to motivate his subjects to attain a goal, promising rewards or spoils to those who would follow him. The Beast requires a central leader who persuades by persuasive flattery. The despot is accompanied by an anti-God religious figure with some measure of supernatural demonic power. The oversight of the entire enterprise comes from Satan the devil, empowering the human leader. Satan has the entire world (the matrix of us all) in his hip pocket. When we are called by God, our mother is Jerusalem above, having no connection whatsoever with the world. If we choose Satan as our father, we attain a cunning, competitive, and highly self-centered spirit, fashioned to fit, as Satan's vessels of wrath, working in this world's political system, with its cheating and deception. Preparation for destruction is a cooperative effort between man and Satan. The present demise of the United States started over 150 years ago. As God works through families, Satan also works with families, over many generations.
