sermonette: Undetected

Preventing the Undetected Erosion of our Resistance to Satan
Joseph B. Baity
Given 30-Oct-10; Sermon #1017s; 15 minutes

Description: (hide)

As the war waged by Satan increases against us, causing anxiety and depression, there are defenses we can erect against his stratagems. Since we reside in Satan's world, surrounded by a formidable, unseen enemy, looked upon as interlopers, no safe place exists. Even the closest disciple to Christ was not immune to Satan's influence. We are admonished to remain awake, realizing that Satan's invisible weapons are hard to detect. Apart from God's protection, we have no chance to survive our evil enemy. Satan is not going to cut us any slack, but will be fighting to the death. Thankfully, in the big picture, it looks a whole lot worse for Satan, who has not been given the hope we have.
