God blessed the womb of Leah, but closed (at least temporarily) the womb of Rachel. Sadly, Rachel kept tally on the children she and her sister had naturally or through surrogate handmaids. Perhaps, after several years of practicing envy, Rachel may have repented from her competitive spirit, leading God to open her womb. We cannot have a wholesome relationship with God unless we refrain from competing with one another, and begin cooperating with one another. There will not be any wrestling in the Kingdom of God.
