The parable of the talents teaches that productivity and diligence are demanded from God's called-out ones. When we receive spiritual gifts, we are obligated to display productivity. We will be called to give an account of our faithfulness and responsibility for what we have been given. To those who have been given much, much will be required. All of our ability and talents are on loan from God. Instead of acting like a bystander in the conversion process, let us strive to become good and faithful servants.
