sermonette: The River of the Holy Spirit

Consider Our Ways
Ronny H. Graham
Given 05-Jan-13; Sermon #1137s; 17 minutes

Description: (hide)

The Army Corps of Engineers is having difficulty keeping river traffic going because of the intense drought. This difficulty will raise havoc with agricultural commerce, depending heavily on the Mississippi River and its tributaries. The drought has adversely affected 80% of agricultural commerce, bringing about a shortage of food. The drought mentioned in Haggai 1 suggests that even industrial and manufacturing bases will also dwindle as the result of drought-related factors. The lack of rain and drought has been directly associated to the disobedience of modern Israel. Because our people refuse to consider their ways, things are not going to improve. If national Israel will collectively consider its ways, repent, and turn to God, the Mississippi River will again become serviceable. In the same manner, if we as God's called out ones consider our ways, repent, and return to God, His Holy Spirit will continue to flow through us.
