sermonette: Making a Commitment to Overcome

Setting and Obtaining Spiritual Goals
Ryan McClure
Given 09-Mar-13; Sermon #1146s; 14 minutes

Description: (hide)

We are in the process of conducting our year-in-review and examining our walk with God as we prepare for the Passover. If we want to have more success than the average person making New Year's resolutions, we must adopt concrete goals rather than intangible generalizations. Once we have identified our specific difficulty in overcoming (whether it is gossiping, lack of studying the Bible, lack of praying, lack of fellowshipping, etc.), we should write it down in specific, measurable objectives, followed by a determination to take action.
