sermonette: Eating the Unleavened Bread of Perfection

Our Primary Focus of the Feast of Unleavened Bread
Clyde Finklea
Given 26-Mar-13; Sermon #1149Bs; 20 minutes

Description: (hide)

While in the past our primary focus seemed to emphasize getting the leavening out, we must be equally cognizant of the mandate—and the purpose of that mandate— for eating unleavened bread for seven days. Many scriptures give us specific instructions that we eat unleavened bread for seven (the number of perfection) days, symbolizing the process of moving on to spiritual perfection, enduring chastening and suffering, through the same process that our Elder Brother learned perfection. We must develop the character traits of the God family, including love and mercy.
