sermonette: Life Can Be Beautiful

If We Are Involved in the Right Things
John W. Ritenbaugh
Given 15-Jun-13; Sermon #1163s; 17 minutes

Description: (hide)

King David observed that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, with God involved in each of our lives, creating us with varied skills and aptitudes. God involves Himself in all of our lives; we are not accidents. Everything God has created, including the industrious instincts of the insects, has been done with the completion of His purpose in mind. Jesus Christ proclaimed that both He and His Father have been working continually. As God's called-out ones, we must appeal to God to finish the work He has begun in us, keeping pace with our Elder Brother, just like the obedient dog, observed in a nearby schoolyard, had dutifully and faithfully kept up with his master, maintaining whatever pace was set.
