sermonette: Seeing Is Believing

Adjusting Our Focus on the Spiritual Realm
Joseph B. Baity
Given 21-Dec-13; Sermon #1190s; 16 minutes

Description: (hide)

Seeing plays a major role in processing information, butt our sensory equipment varies widely. None of us process the incoming data similarly. Our minds carry the final judgment as to what we truly see. Consequently, no two people ever see things exactly the same way, not even among God's elect. God gifts His people differently. Walking together requires an infusion of God's Holy Spirit and is not facilitated by our various backgrounds and experiences. Submitting to God, keeping our focus on Jesus, and walking by faith, will lead us to the miracle of submitting to one another.
