sermonette: Our Spiritual Reality

Walking in Faith
Bill Onisick
Given 15-Sep-18; Sermon #1452s; 17 minutes

Description: (hide)

Neither virtual reality nor spiritual reality can be seen with the naked eye—the first requires special apparatus, and the second requires the eye of faith and God's calling and getting. Faith is necessary for the interval between God's promise to his called-out ones and the fulfilment of the promise at the resurrection and glorification as members of God's family. During the lengthy sanctification process, our character is molded, shaped, and transformed into the replica of God the Father. We are to develop the kind of faith that moves mountains of doubt, disbelief, and pride, preparing us to see God as He is, being at one with Him, composed totally of Holy Spirit, able to accept our inheritance without needing protective goggles to gaze on His luminous face.
