When we are asked to describe the major trait or characteristic of Almighty God, the overwhelming response would be: "God is love." Nevertheless, the Bible clearly says that there are things that God hates and will not tolerate in His kingdom. For instance, He hates the bitter, internecine conflict in the Middle East continued between the descendants of Ishmael and Esau against the descendants of Jacob. In Proverbs 6:16, we learn that God has an intense hatred against all sin, including what the woke offspring of Jacob would consider wholesome and good. God hates hypocritical religious convocations when people pay lip service but no heart service to Him. Mankind does not have a clue how to stop hate, but God does, and He will!
