SOLOMON SON of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the Lord his God was with him and made him exceedingly great.

Contemporary English Version
King Solomon, the son of David, was now in complete control of his kingdom, because the LORD God had blessed him and made him a powerful king.

And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and Jehovah his God was with him and magnified him exceedingly.

Solomon, the son of King David, took firm control of the kingdom of Israel, and the LORD his God blessed him and made him very powerful.
