Huram, the form used throughout Chronicles (except I Chronicles 14:1) for the name both of the king and of the artisan whom he lent to Solomon II Chronicles 2:13; II Chronicles 4:11, II Chronicles 4:16, is a late corruption of the true native word, Hiram (marginal note and reference).
