The Reforms of Asa

1 Now ^athe Spirit of God came upon Azariah the son of Oded.

2 And he went out¹ to meet Asa, and said to him: “Hear me, Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin. ^aThe Lord is with you while you are with Him. ^bIf you seek Him, He will be found by you; but if ^cyou forsake Him, He will forsake you.

3 ^aFor a long time Israel has been without the true God, without a ^bteaching priest, and without ^claw;

4 but ^awhen in their trouble they turned to the Lord God of Israel, and sought Him, He was found by them.
