American Standard Version
And the governor said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood up a priest with Urim and Thummim.

Amplified® Bible
The governor told them that they should refrain from eating any of the most holy food until a priest with Urim and Thummim should arise [to determine the will of God in the matter].

Contemporary English Version
In fact, the governor told them, "You cannot eat the food offered to God until he lets us know if you really are priests."
