He shall not depart out of darkness; The flame shall dry up his branches, And by the breath of `God's' mouth shall he go away.

Amplified® Bible
He shall not depart out of darkness [and escape from calamity; the wrath of God] shall consume him as flame consumes a dry tree, and by the blast of His mouth he shall be swept away.

Contemporary English Version
They won't escape the darkness, and the blazing breath of God will set their future aflame.

Darby English Version
He shall not depart out of darkness; the flame shall dry up his branches; and by the breath of his mouth shall he go away.

Good News Bible
and they will not escape from darkness. They will be like trees whose branches are burned by fire, whose blossoms are blown away by the wind.
