Job 27:7
Compare all
5 Far be it from me
That I should say you are right;
Till I die aI will not put away my integrity from me.
6 My righteousness I ahold fast, and will not let it go;
bMy heart shall not1 reproach me as long as I live.
7 “May my enemy be like the wicked,
And he who rises up against me like the unrighteous.
8 aFor what is the hope of the hypocrite,
Though he may gain much,
If God takes away his life?
9 aWill God hear his cry
When trouble comes upon him?

Job 27:7

Let mine enemy be as the wicked - Let my accuser be proved a lying and perjured man, because he has laid to my charge things which he cannot prove, and which are utterly false.
