O ye sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor? `How long' will ye love vanity, and seek after falsehood? Selah

O you sons of men, how long will you turn my honor {and} glory into shame? How long will you love vanity {and} futility {and} seek after lies? Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!

How long will you people refuse to respect me? You love foolish things, and you run after what is worthless.
