American Standard Version
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; Their inward part is very wickedness; Their throat is an open sepulchre; They flatter with their tongue.

Amplified® Bible
For there is nothing trustworthy {or} steadfast {or} truthful in their talk; their heart is destruction [or a destructive chasm, a yawning gulf]; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter and make smooth with their tongue.

Contemporary English Version
Nothing they say is true! They just want to destroy. Their words are deceitful like a hidden pit, and their tongues are good only for telling lies.

Darby English Version
For there is no certainty in their mouth; their inward part is perversion, their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

Good News Bible
What my enemies say can never be trusted; they only want to destroy. Their words are flattering and smooth, but full of deadly deceit.

King James Version
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

New American Standard Bible
There is nothing reliable in what they say; Their inward part is destruction {itself.} Their throat is an open grave; They flatter with their tongue.

New International Version
Not a word from their mouth can be trusted;
their heart is filled with destruction.
Their throat is an open grave;
with their tongue they speak deceit.

New King James Version
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth;
Their inward part is destruction;
Their throat is an open tomb;
They flatter with their tongue.

N.A.S.B. in E-Prime

Revised Standard Version
For there is no truth in their mouth; their heart is destruction, their throat is an open sepulchre, they flatter with their tongue.
