Because of the oppression of the poor, because of the sighing of the needy, Now will I arise, saith Jehovah; I will set him in the safety he panteth for.

Amplified® Bible
Now will I arise, says the Lord, because the poor are oppressed, because of the groans of the needy; I will set him in safety {and} in the salvation for which he pants.

Contemporary English Version
But you, LORD, tell them, "I will do something! The poor are mistreated and helpless people moan. I'll rescue all who suffer."

Darby English Version
Because of the oppression of the afflicted, because of the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith Jehovah, I will set [him] in safety, at whom they puff.
