Let me not be put to shame, O Jehovah; for I have called upon thee: Let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol.

Let me not be put to shame, O Lord, {or} disappointed, for I am calling upon You; let the wicked be put to shame, let them be silent in Sheol (the place of the dead).

I pray only to you. Don't disappoint me. Disappoint my cruel enemies until they lie silent in their graves.
