Articles, Bible studies, and sermons that contain Psalms 39:5:
Psalm 39:5
Excerpted from: Simplifying Life (Part Two)David, in Psalm 39:5, proclaimed, “Indeed, You have made my days as handbreadths, and my age is nothing before You; certainly every man at his best state, is but a vapor. Selah.” The Bible Hub Commentary proclaims that, a “handbreadth” is an ancient unit of measurement, roughly the width of four fingers, symbolizing something very short and limited. In biblical times, this measurement was used to convey the transience and the fleeting nature of life.
