Prayer to God in Time of Trouble
And bplead my cause against an ungodly nation;
Oh, deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!
Why do You cast me off?
aWhy do I go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Let them lead me;
Let them bring me to bYour holy hill
And to Your1 tabernacle.
To God my exceeding joy;
And on the harp I will praise You,
O God, my God.
And why are you disquieted within me?
Hope in God;
For I shall yet praise Him,
The1 help of my countenance and my God.

Psalms 43:1
Judge me, O God, and plead my cause - ribah ribi , a forensic term, properly enough translated, plead my cause, be my counsellor and advocate.
Ungodly nation - The Babylonians; the impious, perfidious, wicked, and deceitful Babylonians.
The deceitful and unjust man - Nebuchadnezzar.
