Psalms 45:5
Compare all
3 Gird Your asword upon Your thigh, bO Mighty One,
With Your cglory and Your majesty.
4 aAnd in Your majesty ride prosperously because of truth, humility, and righteousness;
And Your right hand shall teach You awesome things.
5 Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the King’s enemies;
The peoples fall under You.
6 aYour throne, O God, is forever and ever;
A bscepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom.
7 You love righteousness and hate wickedness;
Therefore God, Your God, has aanointed You
With the oil of bgladness more than Your companions.

Psalms 45:5

Arrows - The same with the sword, and this is no other than his word, which is sharp and powerful, and pierceth the hearts of men. The kings - Of thine enemies. Fall - Prostrate at thy feet, after the manner of conquered persons.
