O God, thou art my God; earnestly will I seek thee: My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee, In a dry and weary land, where no water is.

Amplified® Bible
O GOD, You are my God, earnestly will I seek You; my inner self thirsts for You, my flesh longs {and} is faint for You, in a dry and weary land where no water is.

Contemporary English Version
(A psalm by David when he was in the desert of Judah.) You are my God. I worship you. In my heart, I long for you, as I would long for a stream in a scorching desert.

Darby English Version
{A Psalm of David; when he was in the wilderness of Judah.} O God, thou art my ùGod; early will I seek thee. My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh languisheth for thee, in a dry and weary land without water:
