Psalms 65:8

6 Who established the mountains by His strength,
^aBeing clothed with power;

7 ^aYou who still the noise of the seas,
The noise of their waves,
^bAnd the tumult of the peoples.

8 They also who dwell in the farthest parts are afraid of Your signs;
You make the outgoings of the morning and evening¹ rejoice.

9 You¹ visit the earth and ^awater it,
You greatly enrich it;
^bThe river of God is full of water;
You provide their grain,
For so You have prepared it.

10 You water its ridges abundantly,
You settle its furrows;
You make it soft with showers,
You bless its growth.

Psalms 65:8

Thy tokens - Terrible thunders and lightnings, and earthquakes, and comets or other strange meteors, or works of God in the air. Morning - The successive courses of the morning and evening; or of the sun and moon which go forth at those times. Thus the whole verse speaks of the natural works of God, the former clause, of such as are extraordinary and terrible, the latter of such as are ordinary and delightful.
