Psalms 69:24
Compare all
22 aLet their table become a snare before them,
And their well-being a trap.
23 aLet their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see;
And make their loins shake continually.
24 aPour out Your indignation upon them,
And let Your wrathful anger take hold of them.
25 aLet their dwelling place be desolate;
Let no one live in their tents.
26 For they persecute the ones aYou have struck,
And talk of the grief of those You have wounded.
27 aAdd iniquity to their iniquity,
bAnd let them not come into Your righteousness.

Psalms 69:24-25

An utter desolation awaits them. They will not only be driven from their homes, but their homes—or, literally, "palaces," indicative of wealth—shall be desolate (compare Matthew 23:38).
