Psalms 107:7
Compare all
5 Hungry and thirsty,
Their soul fainted in them.
6 aThen they cried out to the Lord in their trouble,
And He delivered them out of their distresses.
7 And He led them forth by the aright way,
That they might go to a city for a dwelling place.
8 aOh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness,
And for His wonderful works to the children of men!
9 For aHe satisfies the longing soul,
And fills the hungry soul with goodness.

Psalms 107:7

That they might go to a city of habitation - God stirred up the heart of Cyrus to give them liberty to return to their own land: and Zerubbabel, Ezra, and Nehemiah, at different times, brought many of them back to Judea.
