25 Save now, I pray, O Lord;
O Lord, I pray, send now prosperity.

26 ^aBlessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
We have blessed you from the house of the Lord.

27 God is the Lord,
And He has given us ^alight;
Bind the sacrifice with cords to the horns of the altar.

28 You are my God, and I will praise You;

29 Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good!
For His mercy endures forever.

showed us light—or favor (Psalms 27:1; Psalms 97:11). With the sacrificial victim brought bound to the altar is united the more spiritual offering of praise (Psalms 50:14, Psalms 50:23), expressed in the terms with which the Psalm opened.
