Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child with his mother, Like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Amplified® Bible
Surely I have calmed and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me [ceased from fretting].

Contemporary English Version
But I have learned to feel safe and satisfied, just like a young child on its mother's lap.

Surely I have restrained and composed my soul, like a weaned child with its mother: my soul within me is as a weaned child.
