I will satisfy her poor with bread.

16 ^aI will also clothe her priests with salvation,
^bAnd her saints shall shout aloud for joy.

17 ^aThere I will make the¹ horn of David grow;
^bI will prepare a lamp for My¹ Anointed.

18 His enemies I will ^aclothe with shame,
But upon Himself His crown shall flourish.”

There - In Jerusalem. To bud - His power and glory to flourish. A lamp - A successor to continue for ever in his family, as this phrase is expounded I Kings 11:36, I Kings 15:4, and particularly one eminent and glorious light, namely, the Messiah.
