Praise to God for His Salvation and Judgment

1 Praise¹ the Lord!
^aSing to the Lord a new song,
And His praise in the assembly of saints.

2 Let Israel rejoice in their Maker;
Let the children of Zion be joyful in their ^aKing.

3 ^aLet them praise His name with the dance;
Let them sing praises to Him with the timbrel and harp.

4 For ^athe Lord takes pleasure in His people;
^bHe will beautify the¹ humble with salvation.

5 Let the saints be joyful in glory;
Let them ^asing aloud on their beds.

In him that made him - Let them remember in their exultations to give all glory to the Lord; for he is the Author of their being and their blessings. And let them know that he is their King also; that they should submit to his authority, and be guided and regulated in their hearts and conduct by his laws.
