Excerpted from: For the ChildrenHere, wisdom is personified. It says that wisdom, along with prudence, hates pride, arrogance, the evil way, and the perverse mouth. Wisdom is adamantly opposed to those things. And in this context, then, the fear of the LORD is defined as hating evil.
