Proverbs 14:30
Excerpted from: It's Enough! Now, Lord, Take My Life!

The breaking of God's spiritual law sets us up to experience problems and attitudes of the mind for which there seems to be no hope or help. Doing things we know are wrong results in negative or depressive feelings, as does the influence of demonic thoughts. Unsolved resentment, bitterness, jealousy, envy, or anger lead to feelings of loss and result in depressed feelings.

For such sins as envy, we must ask for forgiveness from God and invite others we have offended to forgive us as well. And then we set our values and priorities right and resolve not to repeat them.
