house—that is, "sepulchre," as in Ecclesiastes 12:5; "grave" (Isaiah 14:19). To be excluded from the family sepulcher was a mark of infamy (Isaiah 34:3; Jeremiah 22:19; I Kings 13:22; II Chronicles 21:20; II Chronicles 24:25; II Chronicles 28:27).
