American Standard Version
For it shall be that, as wandering birds, as a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of the Arnon.

Amplified® Bible
For like wandering birds, like a brood cast out {and} a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of the [river] Arnon.

Contemporary English Version
The women of Moab crossing the Arnon River are like a flock of birds scattered from their nests.

And it shall be [that] as a wandering bird, [as] a scattered nest, so shall the daughters of Moab be at the fords of the Arnon.
