American Standard Version
In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, shall the nail that was fastened in a sure place give way; and it shall be hewn down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off; for Jehovah hath spoken it.

Amplified® Bible
In that day, says the Lord of hosts, the nail {or} peg that was fastened into the sure place shall give way {and} be moved and be hewn down and fall, and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off; for the Lord has spoken it.

Contemporary English Version
That peg is fastened firmly now, but someday it will be shaken loose and fall down. Then everything that was hanging on it will be destroyed. This is what the LORD All-Powerful has promised.

Darby English Version
In that day, saith Jehovah of hosts, shall the nail that is fastened in a sure place be removed, and be cut down, and fall; and the burden that was upon it shall be cut off: for Jehovah hath spoken.
