American Standard Version
Like as a woman with child, that draweth near the time of her delivery, is in pain and crieth out in her pangs; so we have been before thee, O Jehovah.

Amplified® Bible
As a woman with child drawing near the time of her delivery is in pain {and} writhes and cries out in her pangs, so we have been before You (at Your presence), O Lord.

Contemporary English Version
Because of what you did to us, we suffered like a woman about to give birth.

Darby English Version
As a woman with child, that draweth near her delivery, is in travail, [and] crieth out in her pangs; so have we been before thee, Jehovah.

Good News Bible
You, LORD, have made us cry out, as a woman in labor cries out in pain.
