American Standard Version
The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceaseth: `the enemy' hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth not man.

Amplified® Bible
The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceases. The enemy has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities {and} {the witnesses}, he regards no man.

Contemporary English Version
No one travels anymore; every road is empty. Treaties are broken, and no respect is shown to any who keep promises.

Darby English Version
The highways are desolate, the wayfaring man ceaseth. He hath broken the covenant, he hath despised the cities, he regardeth no man.

Good News Bible
The highways are so dangerous that no one travels on them. Treaties are broken and agreements are violated. No one is respected any more.

King James Version
